The Boxing Lab is a five-day-per-week program built around deliberate, structured skill development. Each day has a dedicated focus so that every session has purpose and every week builds on the last.

Supplemented by the Lunch Lab, a midday boxing session running Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for members who want to train before getting back to their day.

A sharp, focused midday boxing session for members who want to train without losing their day. Each class moves through combinations, pad work and technical drilling at a pace built for the lunch hour — purposeful, efficient and done before you get back to it.

Registered & Eligible to Compete

Zenith is registered with Boxing Ontario and Boxing Canada, so our competition team is eligible to compete in sanctioned amateur boxing under both governing bodies.

What a Class Looks Like

Warm Up

01

Every class opens with dynamic movement. Skipping, shadow boxing and mobility drills to activate the body and lock in focus before any technical work begins.

Technique

02

Coaches break down boxing fundamentals step by step. Every session builds on the last and every rep has a reason.

Pad Work

03

This is where technique becomes instinct. You'll work combinations on pads with a coach or partner in a controlled, high-energy setting that puts your skills under real pressure.

Bag WOrk

04

Power, timing and endurance on the heavy bag. A core part of every class at every level to develop output, rhythm and confidence in your striking.

Work out

05

Boxing-specific fitness built into every session with circuits, core work and cardio designed around what your body actually needs in the ring.

Cool Down

06

Stretching and recovery. A moment to breathe, debrief and process what was worked on. Growth happens here too.

Adult Boxing · Markham

Before You Start

No experience required. The Boxing Lab is built to develop skill from the ground up. Beginners are introduced to the fundamentals before progressing and no session assumes you have trained before. If you have never thrown a punch, you are exactly who this program is built for.

Dedicated sparring sessions are invitation only. Light, education-first sparring can happen inside a regular class entirely at the coach's discretion, based on the readiness of the students that day. When it happens it is always controlled, always purposeful and always supervised. As a newcomer you are never pushed into it.

For your free trial, just bring a water bottle, shorts and a t-shirt. If you already own gloves and hand wraps, bring them along.

Once you are training boxing regularly you will want your own gloves, hand wraps, a water bottle, boxing shoes and a mouth guard. Come 10 to 15 minutes early and one of our trainers will help you wrap your hands.

Your first class is free. Membership is one flat monthly fee for unlimited access to everything we offer, boxing and Muay Thai included. There is no long-term contract. You can cancel any time with 30 days written notice before your next billing cycle. Full pricing lives on our Memberships page.

Never. The decision to compete is always yours. Our coaches will guide and prepare you, but the choice to fight has to come from you. The competition team is invitation only and no member is cleared to compete unless our coaches are fully confident they are ready.

All of our main coaches have at least ten years of martial arts experience, a minimum of two years of coaching, and follow a leadership framework aligned with our gym's mission and culture. Every coach and staff member has completed a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check for your safety and peace of mind.
