General / Memberships & Policies
9 questionsAll of our main coaches have a minimum of ten years of martial arts experience, at least two years of coaching experience, and follow a leadership framework built on values and goals that align with our gym's mission and culture. Our junior coaches are hand selected and trained by our senior coaching team, chosen not only for their technical understanding of the sport but also for their social and emotional intelligence. Every member of our coaching and staff team has completed a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check for your safety and peace of mind.

For kids aged 7 to 12, we recommend 150 inch hand wraps and 8oz to 10oz boxing gloves. Yes, you may freeze your account for any reason. A freeze period is exactly one month. To begin a freeze, send an email to admin@zenithma.ca with your requested dates. A 7-day notice is required for your request to be processed. Your billing will be suspended for the duration of the freeze and will resume automatically once it ends. If you request cancellation while your account is frozen, the freeze will be removed and the 30-day cancellation notice will begin on the date of that request.
All gym membership fees and day pass fees are non-refundable. We may consider refunds or credits in exceptional circumstances at our discretion. To request a refund or credit, please submit a written request to admin@zenithma.ca with any relevant documentation.

Adult Programs — Boxing Lab & Muay Thai Lab
4 questionsNo experience required. The program is built to develop skill from the ground up. Beginners are introduced to fundamentals before progressing and no session assumes prior experience.
No. Train as much or as little as your schedule allows. Members who attend more consistently develop faster, but there is no attendance minimum. Each class is self-contained.
Dedicated sparring sessions are invitation only. However, light, education-first sparring can take place within regularly scheduled classes entirely at the coach's discretion, based on the readiness of the students in that session. When it happens, it is always controlled, always purposeful and always supervised.
Never. The decision to compete is always yours. Coaches will guide and prepare you, but the decision to fight has to come from you. The competition team is invitation only and no member will be green-flagged to compete unless our coaches are fully confident they are ready.
Kids Program — Zenith Stand Strong
9 questionsThe Zenith Stand Strong program is for kids aged 8 to 12. Classes are structured for this age group so your child will always be training in an age-appropriate and encouraging environment. Children aged 5 to 8 are welcome to inquire about private training.
Yes, when taught correctly by experienced coaches. At Zenith, safety is built into every drill and every class. There is no sparring in beginner or intermediate classes. When sparring is introduced, it is light, controlled and closely refereed by two coaches at all times. All of our coaches have completed a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
Once per week, one class will include a supervised sparring component at the coach's discretion. The specific day varies based on where students are in their development — there is no fixed sparring day on the schedule. All sparring in the Stand Strong program is light and controlled, introduced only when a student is individually assessed as ready, and never mandatory. Every sparring session is closely refereed by two coaches at all times.
We provide gloves for first timers. Once enrolled, we'll walk you through exactly what gear to pick up. For kids aged 7 to 12, we recommend 150 inch hand wraps and 8oz to 10oz boxing gloves.
The first class is free. Monthly membership is one flat fee for unlimited access to both boxing and Muay Thai classes. See our Memberships page for full pricing details.
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area. Many parents find it becomes a highlight of their week watching their kids grow in confidence.
We recommend starting with two classes per week. As your child settles in and their enthusiasm grows, adding a third session is a natural next step. Most of our students come in 3 to 4 times a week. Consistency matters more than volume at the start.
The opposite is true. Martial arts training, done properly, channels energy, builds self-discipline and reinforces respect for others. Children who train regularly typically show improved focus, emotional regulation and confidence both at school and at home. The leadership values we teach are designed to make your child more thoughtful, not more combative.
No. The vast majority of kids in our program train purely for fitness, confidence and skill development. Competition is available as a pathway for kids who want it, but it is never expected or pressured. If your child is interested in competing down the road, we will guide both you and them through what that looks like when the time is right.
